About Under the Ocean

Under the Ocean is a colorful, interactive preschool learning game designed to help young children practice essential early math, reading, and thinking skills. Children explore an underwater world filled with friendly sea creatures while completing fun educational activities.

Designed for preschool and kindergarten learners, the game introduces counting, simple addition, colors, shapes, alphabet recognition, sight words, and beginning spelling through hands-on activities.

Activities include friendly encouragement, visual feedback, and optional spoken instructions to help children learn independently or alongside a parent or teacher.

How to Play

Start by choosing a learning activity from the main menu. Listen to the instructions or read the question displayed on the screen.

Use your mouse or touchscreen to select answers, drag fish into matching areas, match letters, or build words. Some activities let children tap an item first and then tap where it belongs.

Correct answers receive positive feedback and rewards. If an answer is incorrect, children can try again. Select Home to choose another activity or Restart to begin again.

Educational Benefits

Under the Ocean encourages early number sense, counting, addition, color recognition, shape identification, letter recognition, beginning reading, vocabulary development, and problem-solving skills.

Drag-and-drop activities also provide practice with hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, while gradually increasing difficulty encourages children to become more confident and independent.

Suggestions for Parents and Teachers

Encourage children to count objects aloud, say color names, identify letter sounds, and explain their answers. Begin with easier activities and gradually introduce more challenging games.

Short learning sessions of approximately 10 to 15 minutes can help keep activities enjoyable. Children may repeat their favorite games as often as they like.
