LAST HAVEN: ZOMBIE FRONTIER
About the Game
Last Haven: Zombie Frontier is a 3D zombie survival and settlement-building adventure where every day is a fight to stay alive.
Explore a large open world filled with forests, hills, lakes, rivers, abandoned buildings, caves, wildlife, and dangerous zombies. Gather resources, search for supplies, craft equipment, build shelters, and develop a thriving survivor community.
The world becomes increasingly dangerous as time passes. Zombies roam the wilderness, attack survivors, and threaten your settlement. Every seventh night brings a dangerous Blood Moon horde that tests your defenses.
Survival involves more than fighting. You must manage hunger, thirst, health, stamina, supplies, construction, farming, and the needs of your growing community.
Build a simple cabin or create an entire neighborhood. Construct houses, roads, defensive walls, watchtowers, shops, gardens, and community buildings. Furnish interiors and design your settlement to suit your needs.
Explore underground mines for valuable resources, discover hidden treasures, hunt wildlife, fish in lakes, and unlock additional equipment.
Your ultimate goal is to survive the zombie outbreaks, protect your people, expand your settlement, and transform a dangerous wilderness into a lasting home.

Survival Basics
Health
Health measures how much damage your character can survive. Zombies, environmental dangers, and other hazards can reduce your health. Use medical supplies and safe resting opportunities to recover.
Stamina
Running, attacking, and physical activities consume stamina. Allow your character to rest when stamina becomes low.
Hunger
Food is essential for survival. Search buildings, gather berries, grow crops, hunt animals, and cook meals to keep hunger under control.
Thirst
Maintain your water supply by finding clean drinking water, using rain collectors, or collecting untreated water from natural sources.
Untreated water should be purified before drinking.
Weather and Time
The game features changing weather and a day-and-night cycle. Fog, storms, rain, and darkness can affect visibility and survival conditions.
Gathering and Crafting
Collect resources throughout the environment. Different regions provide different materials needed for construction and crafting.
- Wood from trees.
- Stone and iron ore from rocks.
- Fiber from bushes and plants.
- Scrap and equipment from abandoned locations.
- Food from farming, fishing, and hunting.
- Rare materials from special wilderness regions.
Crafting Equipment
Open the crafting menu to create tools, ammunition, medical supplies, food, and other useful items. Some recipes require specialized crafting stations.
Build workbenches, campfires, and forges to access additional crafting opportunities.
Building Your Settlement
The building system allows you to construct shelters, defensive structures, furnished houses, and complete neighborhoods.
Basic Construction
- Build foundations and floors.
- Place walls, windows, and doors.
- Add roofs and stairs.
- Construct second floors and balconies.
- Build fences and defensive barriers.
- Place storage containers and crafting stations.
Overhead Building Editor
Press H to open the overhead editor. Use this tool to arrange rooms, connect walls, position furniture, and work on different building levels.
The editor includes placement tools, furniture movement, rotation, floor selection, and undo features.
Town Planning
Use the town planner to construct roads, houses, shops, and neighborhood layouts. Town planning allows larger construction projects to be placed more efficiently.
Furniture and Home Decoration
Add beds, tables, chairs, cabinets, storage, kitchen furniture, lighting, and decorative objects to make houses more useful.
Survivors and Community Management
As you explore the world, you may encounter other survivors who can join your settlement. Recruited survivors can perform community jobs and help maintain your growing town.
- Assign survivors to available work roles.
- Provide housing and shared community spaces.
- Manage food and supplies.
- Develop farming and production facilities.
- Organize defenses against zombies.
- Improve settlement happiness and productivity.
A successful settlement requires adequate supplies, safe housing, useful facilities, and protection from zombie attacks.
Combat and Zombie Survival
Zombies wander throughout the world and may chase players or survivors when they detect movement or activity.
Use melee weapons, bows, firearms, traps, and defensive structures to protect yourself. Different zombie types have different strengths and movement speeds.
Blood Moon Horde
Every seventh night, a Blood Moon event brings a dangerous zombie attack.
Prepare your defenses before the event begins. Repair damaged structures, stock ammunition, gather medical supplies, and position yourself somewhere defensible.
Survival Tip: Avoid becoming trapped in the open during a Blood Moon. A strong settlement with multiple defensive layers greatly improves your chances of survival.
