Faith Forward Family Devotional Review 100 Devotions For the Family
Faith Forward Family Devotional is about passing down the Bible and our beliefs to our children by sharing with them lessons from the Bible together. This is a great devotional for family time in the morning or right before settling down after dinner. Spending this time together with the family is a very important part of planting the seeds of the Bible in their hearts.
I’m actually a little behind on getting this review done. It’s been a little crazy around here. Last night my husband was ordained as the pastor of our church. I’m proud that he has taken on this responsibility. We are also planning a large Christmas display which is this weekend. It is probably the largest event I have had the privilege of being a part of in this capacity. Pretty excited about that. I enjoy getting the kids involved with our church and the activities. Being more involved and doing devotionals such as this book with the kids really help reinforce what I am trying to teach them about Jesus and His love for them. When we show other people love we are showing our kids how Jesus loves others too.
There are 100 devotionals in this book. I first want to say I love how the book looks. This is my kind of style with the design. The colors are a perfect selection. The font is easy to read which is another plus. I also enjoy the layout and the way the lessons flow.
First is the verses from the Bible. They do use the NIV translation. After the Bible verses is the lesson. There is also a key point to discuss and topics to discuss together. There is also a prayer to pray together.
The lessons can be read as a family or you could even read them by yourself. There is something for everyone to learn or to ponder.
