3 Fun Devotional Books For Kids Reviews

I have been looking for a great devotional book that will get the kids excited for our morning devotionals. Recently I received these three books below and was very impressed with them. The kids each have their own favorite but they are all good in their own way.

Bible Gems To Remember Illustrated Bible

Where to buy!

This is more of a story book than a devotional but it is perfect for my youngest. She will listen and learn more from a story.

The images are beautiful and colorful which draws in those younger readers. It is the perfect book for bedtime devotional time. There are little gems to remember that are really great for conversation starters.

For the older kids we have the:

Bible Gems to Remember Devotions for Kids: 52 Devotions with Easy Bible Memory in 5 Words or Less

Where to Buy!

I have been using this book each morning for our family devotions. It works well with each child on the level they are on. I love the small Bible gems that it has for the kids to remember. They are also great conversation starters. I tend to ask a lot of open ended questions to give them room for thought. These gems help provide the basis for those questions. The book is also well laid out. I like that the lessons are easy to understand and heart felt but also that I don’t spend 10 minutes trying to figure out where the lesson is coming from or where in the Bible I can show them the lesson. I am all for easy planning and this book is perfect for that.

The best devotional for pre teen and young teen boys I have found is BibleForce The First Heroes Devotional!

Where to find.

My son was always a groaning child every time when it came to our morning devotionals. He would kick his feet and roll his eyes. He just isn’t an auditory learner. Most worded devotionals were not cutting it for him. Then I found this gem. I can’t tell you how excited he was to see the comic book like art work in the exciting stories of heroes. He was enthralled with each lesson. There is something about the art work that makes the book more exciting to him. They have so many different products on their sites as well. It’s been a great read for us!
