I Can Read Practice Cards For Kindergarten and First Grade
Practice reading skills with vowels and cvc words on easy to follow cards!
My daughter and I are working hard at practicing her reading skills but at times it can get very frustrating for both of us. I wanted to make something that she could use for extra practice but not be so overwhelming. I also wanted it to be easy to follow and read. The idea for these cards is to give her something that will fit those needs.
Start with the vowels. Have them say the sounds. Then move to the next column with the consonant and vowel pair and then the word column. Last have them read the two columns of word families. Mix the cards up occasionally. Some cards have the same consonant vowel pairs while others don’t.
