A Year’s Worth of Themed Math Mats For Math Centers – Count, Compare Numbers and Add/Subtract up to 140

A Year’s Worth of Themed Math Mats for Math Centers
Count, Compare Numbers and Add/Subtract up to 140

Math Mats for each Month with matching counting pieces and recording pages! Compare numbers with greater than and less than symbols. Add or Subtract numbers with counters. Count and find the number. There are 13 mats in all with 2 versions for July.

How to Setup:

Print out the month you want to work on or print them all out at the same time.
You may want to print two sets of the numbers. You could print just the numbers you want to work with or all 140 of them.
Laminate to make them sturdy.

How to Use:

There are three different mats for each month. The first one is the Compare mat. This mat is for comparing numbers. Place a number in each box. The child will count out the number of items and pick which symbol to put. They can then record them on the page.

There is also and addition or subtraction mat. They can add the different counters and then record it on the page. On the same mat they can practice their subtraction skills with a different page to record the problems they make on.

I also added a counting page where they can count the items and place the correct number in the box.

Other Ideas for Materials:

  1. Put the numbers in numerical order.
