Indivisible Movie Review
We had the awesome opportunity to view Indivisible the movie early. Normally, I don’t do a lot of movie reviews but I was excited about this one for many reasons. The message is profound about the love of GOD and the importance of GOD presence to build a strong marriage and family. It also shows the emotional toll soldiers and their families go through from the first deployment to those who have been deployed a few times. The movie really plays on all the heart strings. I knew from the get go I was in for a few tears and the movie didn’t fail in delivering just that.
I’m not going to go into the plot details too much. I don’t want to ruin the movie for everyone. It’s too good to spoil. You should really check it out yourself for the full impact. The movie starts off with a happy family looking forward to a future they believe is going to go a certain way when reality strikes and things are far from what they imagined. The family actually reminds me of my own in a few ways. Three kids, similar age differences to my own. I watched as the family’s life changed unexpectedly all the while playing a catalyst in others around them. There are examples of different family structures from the young newly weds with a baby to the family who has fallen on struggles.
This movie is great for learning about building a strong foundation based on Biblical principles marriage and holding to GOD’s promises even during the darkest times of our lives. Christian living and faith won’t always protect us from the bad things that happen but they will help us to find our way through them.
So if you are looking for a good family movie to share with your own family or church family be sure to check out Indivisible!
