Preschool Springtime Number Sequencing Free Printable Activity

Lets count some flowers!

This free printable number sequencing activity is a fun way to practice putting numbers in order and counting. It’s also good for number recognition practice.

It is really easy to set up which is one of the reasons I like this type of activity. Quick, easy, and useful!

It also features a set of lovely rainbow flowers. There are eight squares with one more flower in each than the last for them to count up to eight along with a background for them to count on.

Instructions for setup:

Print out the pdf and laminate if you choose to.

Cut out the strips and glue or tape them together by folding down the glue area on one and gluing it to the other glue area.

Cut out the number boxes.

You could attach velcro dots onto them to get them to stay. 🙂

Instructions for Use:

Have child place the numbered box on to the strip cards in order from 1 to 8.

Other ideas for the activity:

You could also teach the concept of One More or One Less with the flower cards.

Place a few down and having them fill in the missing number.
