I knew the moment I saw this beauty that CB would love her. She is a beautiful doll and any doll collector would love her but she is special for other reasons as well. This doll represents my daughter’s favorite book series, Little House On The Prairie. The Little House On The Prairie collection was the first books I purchased when I found out I was having a girl over 11 years ago and we have read them till she probably has them memorized. The collection is a favorite of many people. It’s also a great addition to any home school classroom. It’s filled with rich historical information about the lives of people that lived long ago.
This beautiful doll from Queen’s Treasure showcases Laura’s personality perfectly with the adorable expression and her cheeks peppered with freckles. Every detail is nicely done down to the small buttons on the front of her night gown and the ruffled lace adorning her night cap. The doll is plastic and durably made with eyes that open and close when laying down. She comes in a nice cardboard box that looks like a log cabin. Inside the box she rested comfortably on her block quilt and white pillow. The box also makes a great bed for her to sleep in at night. 🙂
Her hair is soft and smooth braided on both sides and tied with ribbons. Her scalp is glued on securely. Her body is cloth in the midsection with a solid breast plate, arms, legs, and head. She is quite hug-able. Her legs have a rotation joint so she can sit down easily and on her own. She can also hold herself in a standing position with the help of a doll stand. She is a well made doll who will withstand the tons of love she is going to get from a little girl who loves 18″ dolls, history, and The Little House on the Prairie.
She even comes with her adorable little rag doll to keep her company as she rests in her bed.
