Free DIY Printable Board Game
Another installment to our current dinosaur theme is this free printable board game. Setup is simple and play is easy. Game designed for children ages 4-7 but my 10 year old had a blast completing the activities. A sheet of each blank activity cards and blank math cards are included so you can create new cards. You can change the age range by creating your own activity cards to suit the age of children that are playing.
Set up is easy but does take some time. The game is a pdf file that you print out. Cut out the tokens and cards. Fold cards in half with the back being the colored box and the front the activity, then laminate or tape closed. Fold and tape dice. We used LEGO men as playing pieces but you can use pieces from another game or other objects.
Play is simple. The child rolls the dice and moves to the color of tile indicated. They will either take an activity card of the same color or get a free space and a green token. If the activity is completed the child gets a matching token. First player to finish wins. Then each child counts how many of each token they have.
