For your mummy dogs, grab a can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and your hot dogs.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut into strips. The kids can do this and mine had so much fun!
Wrap each strip around your hot dog. This creates the mummy wrap. It doesn’t matter if they way to cover their doll or leave openings. Let them get creative. When they wrap their dogs, throw them in the oven with the crescent roll cooking suggestions on the can.
For the eyes, roll dough balls from the crescent roll dough strips. Place a pan with oil on the stove on low medium heat. Place your balls in the oil and let them brown. Be sure the inside is cooked all the way through. When thy cool, roll them in powdered sugar and place a Sixlet in the middle.
Take two of your strips of crescent dough and place them side by side and press together in the middle. Roll the end down creating a ball at the end of all four ends. Bake as suggested on can or fry in oil on low medium heat. When cooled you can roll them in powdered sugar or cinnamon.
All three have a different taste and compliment each other. They make for a great Halloween lunch spread!
