Chocolate Chip Muffin Pops with Hershey’s Chocolate Spread

I don’t know what I could say about this picture that the picture hasn’t already said. I love how this one turned out. You can just see the creamy chocolaty goodness. 
We made chocolate chip muffins this morning. As I watched them plump in the oven keeping an eye on them so they wouldn’t burn, I had an idea. With the way my ideas usually go, I should have just laid the normal muffins out and said come and get it. I didn’t do that, if I had this post would not have existed. On to the idea!
The story set up:

On Christmas I was blessed with a cake pop maker. I know those gadgets that they sell in the bright colorful boxes are usually junk but optimistically, I tried it out anyway. I am so glad I did. I would say if I was doing a review I would give the cake pop maker a 5 out of 5. This thing does exactly what it is supposed to without to much effort on my part.

They actually tasted very good and came out perfect pops till the icing part. They were red velvet with vanilla icing. 
The story:
So back to this morning. I was thinking.. I wonder what would happen if I put muffin mix in the pink machine. Well, sometimes I actually do have a good idea.
I used a little less liquid to make the dough more firm and poured it right in. I know this has probably been done before but I’m not a real big risk taker so it was an “event” for me to go outside the instruction book and try something new. 
When they came out they looked absolutely perfect. I do so love that machine. 
After I popped them out I dipped the top of them in Hershey’s Spreadable Chocolate spread for added chocolate taste.
